Have you been to the Cali Cracker Festival in Ocala? It was a revisit to the 1830s to 1860s in song, story, history, and daily life. Features included a Civil War encampment for the ordinary soldiers and officers, a maple sugar rendering plant, women using spinning wheels taking fur directly (live) from angora rabbits, vegetable gardens, Seminole village, Seminole hunting camp, and more. The pictures we took seemed to lend themselves well to a little of that old fashioned look so we sepia and brown toned them for the gallery. Check it out.
